The public lookup sets one security cookie. It has no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt in to.
The cookie we set

If you approve the optional JudgeFinder MCP connector, a short-lived cookie that cannot be read by scripts binds the approval to your browser. It is set only on that approval page.
What we do not use
- No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts on public pages.
- No sign-in or account cookies on the public lookup.
- No local storage or session storage.
How we checked
On 2026-10-06 we opened the home page, the judge and court directories, a judge profile and the support page in a clean browser. The browser held the single cookie above, had stored nothing in local or session storage, and contacted no host other than the site itself.
Hosting and error reports still handle request details such as your IP address. The privacy policy lists them.
